Edify School

This G+1 institutional building was developed to serve as a modern school campus, designed to provide a safe, functional, and future-ready learning environment. Beyond the main academic building, the project included comprehensive site development works such as landscaping, retaining walls, and infrastructure improvements to ensure the campus was both visually appealing and structurally secure. Every aspect of the project was executed with precision to meet institutional construction standards and support the client’s long-term vision.

The primary objective was to complete the project on schedule so that the school could commence its academic operations in 2027 without delay. Given the site’s hilly terrain, special emphasis was placed on constructing robust retaining walls and landscaping works to ensure long-term safety and stability. Although the building is currently designed as a G+1 structure, the foundation and structural system were engineered to support future expansion up to G+4, enabling the client to accommodate the school’s growth in the years ahead without major structural modifications.

One of the most demanding aspects of the project was the excavation phase. The site contained extensive hard rock formations, making conventional excavation impossible in several areas. Controlled rock blasting was carefully planned and executed to prepare the foundation while adhering to safety standards and minimizing disruption.

At the same time, the project had a strict completion deadline to ensure the school was operational for the 2027 academic year. Meeting this timeline required meticulous planning, large-scale deployment of skilled labour, efficient logistics management, and seamless coordination between multiple construction teams. Despite the challenging terrain, complex excavation, and tight schedule, Urban Build successfully maintained construction progress without compromising on quality, safety, or structural excellence.
